Logbook Pro Mobile syncs data between your app and Logbook Pro desktop extremely fast through your NC Software account via NC Software's high performance cloud infrastructure. The available settings related to Synchronization are outlined below.

You can command a sync from just about any screen in the app using either a two-finger vertical swipe or a by double-tap tapping in empty areas such as the grey areas around content. If you don't want to use this functionality you can option it OFF as indicated above. (Note: Two finger swipe was removed in 5.9.6)
