Overview

The Schedule View displays your schedule vertically with each day represented as a horizontal row. Limited schedule information is displayed in each row. On days off, the rows are blank. On working days, basic trip information is displayed in each row. The trip number and overnight city code are displayed on every day of the trip. Report time is displayed on the first day of the trip and release time is displayed on the last day of the trip. These times are displayed in the time zone indicated at the top of the screen in gray.

In addition to the above information, APDL on iPad displays a US weather map, monthly summary data, and monthly performance section.

The weather map displays your next scheduled flight and an animated radar image. The remaining functions of the weather map displayed here are the same as the full screen weather map accessed from the APDL menu. Full details on weather map functionality can be found in the Weather Map section.

The summary section displays scheduled, actual, night, instrument, and landings while the performance section displays percentage data of on time departures. The date range of the summary and performance sections is displayed between the radar image and summary section and is linked to the current month displayed in the schedule view. The summary and performance pane can be scrolled while in landscape orientation as the performance section will not be visible at the bottom of the screen.

Navigation

You can navigate the schedule view by scrolling up and down on the rows or by tapping the left and right arrows on the navigation bar at the top to switch between months quickly. To jump to the current day you can tap the month name in the center of the navigation bar.

Legality

Legality problems can also be displayed on the Schedule View. Your duty periods are color coded to indicate your legality status for that duty period.

Green indicates you are legal for the current or next duty period.

Red indicates there is an issue with the current or next duty period.

Yellow indicates an issue with a future duty period.

Go to the Trip View or Legality Status pages for details on the specific issues indicated by the color coding.
